Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Mostly reported as clean by many guests, but there were specific negative mentions (initial room with mould, musty smell and sticky floors) that lower the score slightly.

Service

Staff repeatedly described as friendly and helpful (manager moved a guest to a better room); however recurring check-in/key/phone issues for some guests slightly reduce the rating.

Location

Very consistently praised — close to Sintra attractions and bus stops, described as a perfect/ideal location in multiple reviews.

Room Quality

Rooms noted for beautiful, unique English-style décor and comfortable beds; some negatives include small bathrooms and thin walls/noise in places.

Amenities

Amenities present (pool, living room/library, board games) and secure property, but pool area received criticism (broken loungers, could be more lovingly maintained), so slightly below target.

Value for Money

Standard quality for this hotel tier (not explicitly discussed in reviews).
