Hotel description and useful information for travellers

Cleanliness

Rooms frequently described as clean and well appointed; housekeeping praised for replenishing towels and making beds, though a few reports of insects and one report of a bathroom flood.

Service

Staff often described as nice and helpful with good day-to-day service, but several reviews note slow responses on issues (safe repair), a strict check-in policy, and one strong complaint about management's lack of empathy around a refund request.

Location

Many guests praise the hotel's location: close to metro/tram, dining and convenient for city trips; generally cited as a strong point.

Room Quality

Mixed room quality: some rooms spacious, comfortable and nicely appointed, while others are small or rundown, have thin walls (noise issues), basement bathroom access, or no AC outside the season.

Amenities

Amenities are generally adequate (coffee machine, small fridge reported in some rooms), but there were isolated failures (coffee machine, safe) and AC is seasonal (not available before May in some stays).

Value for Money

Several guests found the hotel good value for the price and pleasantly quaint, though a few felt it did not match a 4-star expectation or were disappointed by refund/booking handling.

Onsite massages and sauna Complimentary wireless internet access Concierge services and babysitting Fine Dining and Services
